Cookie Policy
This page explains what cookies and similar technologies we use on sales-club.co, why we use them, and how you control them. Read this alongside our Privacy Policy.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser when you visit a website. They allow the website to recognize your device and remember information across pages or visits. Similar technologies include local storage and session storage - small amounts of data stored in your browser rather than as separate files.
2. What we set by default
Only what is strictly necessary for the website to function. As of the effective date above, this means:
- Cookie-banner preference (local storage):stores your choice when you accept or dismiss the cookie banner so we don’t show it again on every visit. Key:
salesclub.cookies.v1. - Fit-check state (local storage): stores your in-progress answers and step in the fit-check funnel so you can refresh or come back without losing your place. Key:
salesclub.fitcheck.v1. - Security cookies: set by our hosting provider (Vercel) for request integrity and rate-limit enforcement. These do not identify you personally.
We do not load any analytics, advertising, or behavioral-tracking cookies. We do not embed third-party scripts that set cookies on our behalf.
3. What we might set if you opt in
We may add the following categories in the future. Each requires explicit consent through the cookie banner before any related scripts load:
- Analytics: aggregated usage measurement (page-view counts, referrers, broad geography). Used to improve the website. No advertising IDs.
- Marketing attribution: first-party pixels used to measure which campaigns drive fit-check submissions. Never shared with third parties for re-marketing.
If we add either category, the cookie banner will be re-shown so you can make a fresh choice.
4. Third-party services we link out to
Some flows on our website route you to third-party services that set their own cookies under their own privacy policies:
- Calendar provider: when you click through to book a discovery call, the calendar provider may set cookies governed by its own policy.
- Make.com: receives form submissions from our server but does not interact with your browser directly.
5. Controlling cookies
You can control cookies several ways:
- Via our banner: the cookie banner on first visit lets you accept all (currently the same as essential only) or decline non-essential cookies. You can re-open it from this page at any time by clearing your
salesclub.cookies.v1local-storage entry. - Via your browser:all major browsers let you block, delete, or restrict cookies in their settings. Refer to your browser’s documentation for details.
- Do Not Track:we honor the browser “Do Not Track” signal where applicable by not loading any optional tracking technologies.
Blocking essential cookies and local storage will degrade website functionality - for example, the fit-check funnel will not remember your progress.
6. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the latest version. Material changes - particularly any addition of new cookie categories - will be communicated through a renewed cookie banner.
